Revoint is an indirect tax technology consulting firm built for enterprise tax platforms, ERP integrations, and Vertex product ecosystems. We help clients design, implement, manage, and optimize tax technology across complex SAP, Oracle, Ariba, e-commerce, and cloud landscapes.
Every taxed transaction is a claim you must be able to defend.
Tax authorities do not accept good intentions. They accept evidence. You should never have to hope your tax is right. You should be able to prove it. That conviction shapes every system we build and every engagement we run.

Why Revoint
Certainty is a discipline, not just a promise.
Three things separate a tax engine that survives an audit from one that surprises you during it. We built our practice on all three.
Certified expertise
Trust and delivery credibility
Certified across O Series and Vertex Cloud, with hands-on depth in SAP, Oracle, Ariba and e-commerce. We pair tax-functional knowledge with ERP-integration engineering and deliver from design and configuration through testing, cutover and stabilization.
Proven methodology
A cleaner blueprint, fewer gaps
Pre-built blueprinting templates remove blank-page discovery. Industry fit-gap for retail, manufacturing and pharma sharpens scope early. Workshops align Tax, IT, Finance and AP before a line is configured, and requirements connect directly to configuration and UAT.
AI-driven accelerators
Speed without losing control
AI-supported tax driver mapping accelerates configuration while keeping tax and technology teams in control. Test and payload accelerators expand coverage, and data-readiness tools flag customer, vendor, address, material and tax-master issues early. Every accelerator runs under human sign-off, never bypassing it.
Big ERP integration
Large ERP integrations are rarely clean. SAP, Oracle, Ariba, e-commerce, legacy platforms, middleware, master data, and tax engines all move differently. Revoint understands the nuances behind that complexity and helps clients design tax technology that works across real enterprise landscapes, not just ideal project diagrams.
The method
PROVE™. Five pillars, one outcome.
Our proprietary method turns indirect tax from a recurring risk into an evidenced system.
P
Profile
Architect the full tax footprint.
Requirement analysis across Master Data, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Finance and Audit and Compliance. We trace every tax driver to its source and produce reusable blueprint, driver map and data model collateral.
R
Rules
Build and configure in Vertex.
The blueprint becomes a working engine: tax-driver frameworks, jurisdiction logic, taxability and mappings, wired into SAP, Oracle, Ariba and e-commerce. Every decision the engine makes traces back to a documented driver.
O
Operate
Run it as a managed service.
Monitoring, control dials and KPIs, rate and content change management, period-close support and incident response, all under defined SLAs across three tiers: Essential, Proactive and Optimize.
V
Validate
The assurance spine
Heuristic simulation before go-live, outlier validation, continuous testing and human SME sign-off, all recorded in an immutable audit trail. This is the differentiator.
E
Evolve
Optimize continuously.
A loop: monitor the system, surface insight, decide with a human in the loop, then implement. KPI dashboards and quarterly cycles turn operating data into deliberate improvement, driving cost and risk down.
Validate runs through all of it.
Proof before anything goes live.
Every result is validated and evidenced before it reaches your ledger. Simulation, testing, human sign-off, and an immutable audit trail make each calculation defensible, so there is no question whether your tax is right.
How PROVE maps to your program.
Implementation
Set it up right
Profile + Rules
Architect the footprint, then build and configure it in Vertex.
Maintenance
Keep it true
Operate
Run it as a managed service with KPIs, change management and SLAs.
Optimization
Make it better
Evolve
Drive cost and risk down through quarterly improvement cycles.
And Validate assures all of it.
VertexSuite
VertexSuite, engineered for enterprise tax certainty.
We implement, integrate, manage, and optimize Vertex products across SAP, Oracle, Ariba, e-commerce, and enterprise tax ecosystems. VertexSuite covers Vertex O Series, Vertex Cloud, Certificate Center, Plus Tools, and related products.
01
Implementation
Set the engine up right.
PROVE pillars: Profile + Rules
We architect the full tax footprint, then build and configure it in Vertex. The blueprint is designed for audit defensibility from the first workshop, not retrofitted before go-live.
What is included
Blueprinting and fit-gap across MDM, P2P, O2C, Finance and Audit and Compliance
Configuration across SAP, Oracle, Ariba and e-commerce
UAT, cutover and stabilization with heuristic simulation before go-live
Accelerators used
AI-supported tax driver mapping
Test & payload accelerators
Data-readiness tools
Data-readiness tools flag customer, vendor, address, material and tax-master issues early, before they become go-live defects.
Architecture expertise
We help design Vertex system architecture across on-premise, on-demand, cloud, and hybrid models, including ERP connectivity, environment strategy, endpoints, partitions, SIC configuration, testing architecture, and production support alignment.
02
Maintenance
Managed Vertex Services.
PROVE pillar: Operate
We manage Vertex products across the full operating lifecycle, including rate updates, content changes, new business models, jurisdiction expansion, issue resolution, and ongoing configuration support. Our monitoring, controls, and KPI reporting help tax and IT teams keep the platform stable, visible, and audit-ready.
SLA-backed tiers
Essential
Steady-state cover
Core monitoring, content and rate management, and incident response under defined response times.
Proactive
Most chosen
Adds drift detection, update-impact analysis and period-close support, with proactive change review.
Optimize
Continuous improvement
Adds Evolve cycles: KPI dashboards and quarterly optimization to drive cost and risk down.
03
Optimization
Make the engine better.
PROVE pillar: Evolve
An engine that only stays the same is slowly falling behind. Optimization turns operating data into deliberate improvement through a continuous loop: Monitor, Insight, Decide with a human in the loop, Implement.
What is included
Monitor, surface insight, decide with a human in the loop, implement
KPI dashboards and quarterly optimization cycles
Cost reduction and risk reduction tracked over time
How it runs
Optimization is the Optimize tier of our managed service. Insight comes from the data the engine already produces. Decisions stay with your team and ours, never with an autonomous system.

Industries
Indirect tax is never generic. Neither are we.
Every sector taxes differently. We bring fit-gap depth where it matters most, so the engine reflects how your business actually trades.
Retail
Retail tax lives at the edge cases: high transaction volume, constant SKU churn, marketplace and e-commerce channels, and a patchwork of jurisdiction rules that shift without notice. We configure for taxability accuracy at scale and validate the long tail, so a single mis-categorized product does not become a multi-state exposure.
Manufacturing & Chemicals
Manufacturers carry complex use-tax exposure, exemption handling, and supply chains that cross jurisdictions at every step. Chemicals add product classification and regulatory weight on top. We map the drivers through procurement and production so use tax, exemptions and place-of-supply logic hold up under examination.
Pharma & Medical Devices
Pharma and medical devices sit under heavy regulatory scrutiny, with intricate taxability that varies by product, channel and jurisdiction. Getting it wrong invites both tax and compliance risk. We build configurations that respect those distinctions precisely and document every determination for audit.
Food & Beverage
Few categories are taxed as inconsistently as food and beverage. Prepared versus packaged, on-premise versus to-go, and item-level rules differ sharply across jurisdictions. We translate those distinctions into precise taxability logic and validate it so margins are not quietly eroded by miscalculated tax.
Perspectives
A point of view on tax technology.
Where we stand on the decisions that make or break a tax engine program.
01
Built to go live vs. built to be proven
Go-live is a milestone. Defensibility is the job.
Most tax-engine projects organize around a single goal: hit the go-live date. But the real test happens eighteen months later, when an auditor asks why a transaction was taxed the way it was. Go-live proves the engine runs. It does not prove the engine is right. We design for defensibility from day one, so the system that goes live is the same one that survives the audit.
02
AI belongs in indirect tax. Autonomy does not.
Copilots, not autopilots, in a domain with no margin for error.
AI categorizes faster, drafts blueprints from fit-gap notes, expands test coverage and detects drift before it becomes a liability. But indirect tax has zero margin for error, and a confident wrong answer is the most expensive kind. So our accelerators propose and our subject-matter experts decide, with every decision recorded in an immutable audit trail.
03
The real cost of a cheap Vertex implementation
The invoice is small. The drift, rework and penalties are not.
A cheap implementation looks like a win on the day you sign it, but the price you compared was the wrong number. Cheap builds skip deep requirement analysis, thin out testing and leave no audit trail. Each saving compounds into drift, rework and assessments. Certainty is not a premium feature. It is the thing you were actually buying.
About Revoint
Specialists, by design.
Revoint is an indirect tax technology consulting firm focused on implementing, integrating, managing, and optimizing enterprise tax technology platforms.
Who we are
Certified Vertex implementers.
Our people pair tax-functional knowledge with ERP-integration engineering, and we deliver across the full lifecycle: design, configuration, testing, cutover, stabilization and managed operations. We work onshore-led and offshore-leveraged, a hybrid model that keeps senior accountability close to the client while giving the work scale and speed.
Our team brings 40+ years combined experience to indirect tax technology. That experience is concentrated, not scattered. We go deep on the engine that decides tax and on the systems that feed it, rather than spreading thin across unrelated work.
CG
Chandra Gaddipati
Founder
Chandra founded Revoint to bring engineering discipline to enterprise tax technology. He sets the firm's direction and its standard: build tax systems that are provable and defensible, deliver them across complex ERP landscapes, and keep senior accountability close to every client.
Eshwar leads Revoint's Vertex practice and sets the standard the firm delivers against. His focus is simple and uncompromising: build tax systems that can be proven, run them so they stay that way, and keep a senior human accountable for every decision the engine makes.
We hire senior practitioners who want to go deep, not wide. If you believe tax technology should be provable, defensible, and engineered with care, you will fit here. Explore our open positions below.
